Although it’s simple, it’s still sophisticated. Users can see the number of mature singles who are waiting to meet or interact with their potential future partners. 

Everything on the app is straightforward. The tabs are clearly marked to direct you to different features or sections of the dating app. Overall, it is easy to navigate through the app and access whichever feature you want to use.

Lumen has over 30,000 members from the UK and over 150,000 users from the United States. It is a requirement that one needs to be 50 or over to sign up, and all members are therefore over 50. Membership is drawn from over 130 countries, and the ratio of male to female is almost equal. A majority of users on the app are seeking partners for long-term dating.

Because of the thorough verification process, it’s not possible to encounter fake profiles at Lumen. When we tried the app for this review, we saw profiles of serious and legit seniors looking for a connection with other mature singles online.

Profiles Quality – Glam or Glum?

It is easy to create your profile at Lumen, especially if you sign up through Facebook. The app will sync with the information from your Facebook account and gather details such as first name and birthday. Members who sign up through their phone number will have to put up the details by themselves. You’ll also be required to upload at least two photos. Furthermore, you’ll be required to take a selfie as a way of verifying the photos.

The profiles at Lumen are detailed. Besides, there are no fake profiles because of the strict registration and verification process. The Admins also conduct regular checks on the app to ensure it’s safe for users.

Both standard and premium members at Lumen have an easy time initiating contact on the dating app. However, free users are limited to five chats per day.
